New Work from Home Mom
My hat has switched from being a teacher to being a mom. I honestly never thought I would be a stay at home mom, but I knew it was best for me and my family. It is a challenge, but I am so excited to share teaching ideas and resources for you to use in your classrooms!
K-1 Teacher
Although I am currently staying home with my babies, my heart will always belong in K-1. I always thought I would be a first grade teacher forever. Once we moved to Mississippi, I was asked to teach kindergarten. I was absolutely terrified. It ended up being the best thing for me. I taught in kindergarten and first grade classrooms until I had my son. Once I found out I was pregnant, I knew it was time for me to take some time off. I am excited to share my experiences and some fun activities with you!
Mom Life
I have two babies. My daughter, C, is four and I am having a hard time believing she will be in kindergarten next year. My son, L, just turned one. I have greatly enjoyed watching them grow up, but I do miss the classroom so much!
I am originally from St. Louis. We moved to Mississippi for my husband do get his doctorate degree in Marketing. Once he was finished, we moved to Maryland. We are finally settled here in Maryland and we absolutely LOVE it here.
