Easy Christmas Party Games and Activities

The end of the year is always so stressful, so here are a few easy Christmas party games and activities that your students will love!

  1. Bingo -Create Your Own Luck This is always a huge hit in the classroom! I give each student a blank game board and pictures. For their morning activity on the day of the party, they will then cut, place, and glue the pictures anyway they want on their game board. This will allow them to create their own Bingo board.

2. Snowman Bowling- This cute idea from Coffee and Carpool is such an easy activity that your students will love. Normally, we use red and green solo cups and “bowl” with a small ball. This version with snowmen is just too cute not to share!

3. Minute to Win It: Bows in the Bowl- Provide your students with a bowl, large spatula, and a bunch of spread out bows. Have your students close their eyes or blindfold them as they use the spatula to try to put the bows in the bowl.

4. Marshmallow Shooters- If you make these with your students, I guarantee you will be labeled the best teacher ever! Put a marshmallow in the cup and your students can knock down a tower, shoot in a bucket, etc.

5. STEM Escape Room- This escape room has three different STEM challenges that would be great for a classroom party. I group my students in small groups of 4-5 students and have each group complete the activities at the same time. This is a hit!

6. Ice Cream Cone Christmas Tree- This is such an easy snack to do during a holiday party. All you need is ice cream cones, candy, and green icing.

7. STEM Christmas Tree Stack- This activity is a staple at every single holiday party we have because the kids LOVE this activity! Typically, the kids build the towers (or Christmas tree) and then we use bean bags to knock it down. They will continue to rebuild, knock it down, and rebuild again until the time is up.

8. Minute to Win It: Marshmallow Stack- Give your students a handful of marshmallows. Give them one minute to stack as many marshmallows as they can to make the tallest tower.

9. Popsicle Stick Christmas Tree Craft- This is an easy craft for students to complete. When I do this activity, I prep the trees with hot glue ahead of time, so students will just have to pick a tree and decorate when they come to the craft station.

10. Reindeer Graham Cracker Snacks- These snacks are such a cute addition to any classroom party! All you need are graham crackers, chocolate icing, pretzels, eyeball sprinkles, and red M&Ms.

I hope this list is helpful and I hope you have an incredible rest of your year!

Happy Holidays!
