Are you looking for a cute and fun writing craft for February? Students will love this “Box of Love” writing craft where they can write the things they love on a piece of chocolate and glue it on their chocolate box.
This product includes:
• 3 Front cover options (chocolate box)
• Page with chocolate pieces for students to use on their box. There are 6 strips per page with 7 chocolate options on each strip. (Students don’t have to use all 7 on their chocolate box)
• 4 Writing page options
• Directions page
How to complete this activity:
1. Choose the front cover for the craft and have students color the box.
2. Cut the strips with the “chocolates” so each student has their own strip with 7 chocolates. *You can have students use less on their box, but I wanted to give them a variety of chocolate shapes to use.
3. Students will write one thing they love (in marker) on each piece of chocolate. They will color the chocolate pieces and glue on their box.
4. Choose the writing lined paper you want your students to use and how many pages you need. *They can write one thing they love on each paper to make a book, or you can differentiated based on your students’ level.
5. To attach the writing paper to the front page with the chocolate box, you can either staple along the curves of the heart or you can have your students run a glue stick along the curves and attach.
